Engagement
Signet is a founding and certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), the jewelry industry's premier standards and certification organization. We are an active member on numerous RJC committees and advocate to advance important initiatives for continuous improvement. Signet requires all suppliers to join the RJC and to be certified by RJC's accredited third-party audits. Signet’s policy to purchase from RJC members is a key component of our responsible sourcing program, including supply chain risk assessment and due diligence process.
Signet adheres to the Kimberley Process (KP), an international government certification program that regulates trade in rough diamonds. The KP is designed to prevent the flow of conflict diamonds, while helping to protect the legitimate trade in rough diamonds. We are also a founding and active member of the World Diamond Council (WDC), a non-profit international trade association established in 2000 to support the KP.
Finally, Signet is a participant in the United Nations Global Compact and adheres to its principles-based approach to responsible business.
