Diamond's Journey

Natural diamonds are rare, unique, timeless and valued. When choosing a piece of jewelry, it's vital to have complete confidence and trust in who you buy it from and how it was sourced.

At Signet, we promise all our products are responsibly sourced, and we use our scale for good to advance human rights while preserving our planet.

Explore all the ways our natural diamonds inspire love and do good for the people and places where they come from.

Responsibly Sourced, at the Source

To help our customers find the perfect symbols to express their love, we source diamonds the world over, from the deserts in southern Africa to the barren white landscape of the Canadian Arctic. Our disciplined sustainable business practices begin at the earliest stages of harnessing the beauty of natural diamonds, requiring careful consideration for labor rights, working conditions, and product integrity.

Expert Partners Committed to Ethical Standards

We work with a global network of experts who honor natural diamonds on their journey to our customers. We're proud to have either co-created or co-founded a number of key global initiatives for the responsible sourcing of diamonds ‐ but we're even prouder to give our customers the confidence they need when making such a special purchase.

We require our key suppliers to become members of the Responsible Jewelry Council ‐ an organization Signet co-founded in 2005. This means our suppliers agree to internationally recognized standards to create safer work environments and support more environmentally sensitive approaches.

We are also one of the founding members of the World Diamond Council, an organization instrumental to ensuring that the merchandise does not contain diamonds involved in funding armed conflict. Our rigorous responsible sourcing protocols go above and beyond the standards required by the World Diamond Council to test and verify the authenticity of natural diamonds we sell.

The Journey Continues: Brilliance That Endures

A diamond's brilliance, as well as its impact, should continue for generations. Services like jewelry care and repair, as well as diamond jewelry trade-in programs, enable customers to express their love for others and themselves while they feel good about their purchase. In fact, the pieces we receive from trade-in jewelry is repaired, reused, resold, or repurposed - we even save the “diamond dust” created from diamond polishing, which is reused in items like drills and flat-screen TVs.
