    To help our customers find the perfect symbols to express their love, we source diamonds the world over, from the deserts in southern Africa to the barren white landscape of the Canadian Arctic. We work with global partners in some of the most remote places on the planet to ensure high standards are met when sourcing Earth’s natural creations. We’re proud to have either co-created or co-founded a number of key global initiatives that involves the responsible sourcing of diamonds, colored gemstones and precious metals, and proud to provide our customers the confidence they need in making such a special purchase.

  3. A global network, a global ecosystem

    Signet is one of 14 Founding Members of the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC), the world’s leading standard-setting organization for the jewelry and watch industry since 2005. The RJC boasts more than 1,600 members representing all aspects of the supply chain from mine to retail, and a Signet executive was elected Chair of its Board of Directors in 2018.

    We require that all of our strategic and key suppliers in our supply chain become active members of the RJC and adhere to its strict standards. Today, Signet remains a participant in the RJC's Sustainable Development Goals Taskforce and numerous committees, actively ensuring adherence to globally responsible business practices that include human rights, labor practices, environment and anti-corruption.

  4. Transparency in a complex system

    Diamonds can be traded among many companies many times along each step of the supply chain. Signet works to ensure the diamonds used in our jewelry come from companies who act responsibly. Signet is an active, founding member of the World Diamond Council (WDC), a non-profit trade association established in 2000 to combine efforts in the global diamond industry to support the Kimberley Process (KP), an international certification program that regulates trade in rough diamonds.

    We urge everyone with a stake in our industry to continue with, or join us in, the pursuit of integrity, transparency and accountability by joining the RJC and WDC.

  5. Adding brilliance at every step

    Signet operates a diamond cutting and polishing facility in Botswana, Africa, enabling us to offer employment opportunities, particularly to women, in sub-Saharan Africa.

    In India, where more than 90% of the world’s rough diamonds are cut and polished, our deep-rooted partnerships with the jewelry manufacturing industry in India make us a large contributor to India’s diamond industry employment, helping create jobs for women who may not have the same opportunities as men.

    As an active and staunch advocate for fair wages and labor practices, and transparency in the jewelry supply chain, we are helping to Inspire Love around the world.

    A diamond’s brilliance, as well as its impact, should live for generations. Services like jewelry care and repair, as well as diamond jewelry trade-in programs, enable customers to express their love for others and themselves while knowing that many parts of jewelry placed in our care is reused, resold, or repurposed (we even save the “diamond dust” created from diamond polishing, which is reused in items like drills and flat-screen TVs).

    The principles of the circular economy are built into our business model to extend the life of nearly every piece of jewelry we touch.
