Signet is committed to providing a work environment that is free from all types of discriminatory conduct. Signet considers discriminatory conduct to include conduct or behavior involving harassment, retaliation or bullying. against team members or any other covered persons because of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental disability, citizenship, service in the armed services, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state or local laws. This conduct is prohibited both at the workplace, employer-sponsored events or as a representative of the Company.
Discriminatory conduct is unlawful and extremely harmful, both to the person subjected to it and to the achievement of Signet’s goals. Signet will make every effort to maintain an environment free from harassment, discrimination, retaliation and bullying. Signet will investigate thoroughly and resolve appropriately any complaint of discriminatory conduct received, in a timely manner.
Growth and Development Initiatives
Signet offers a variety of training opportunities to support our team members in their career development, and to invest in their growth. All team members are also required to complete a training titled Diversity and Inclusion: Unconscious Bias and Inclusive Leadership.
Each year, we conduct a Leadership Conference for our 3,000 Store Managers. We have recently added leadership development modules that are rated over 90 percent effective by participants. Modules are focused on a variety of topics including: Leadership, Self-care, and Overcoming Obstacles; Coaching with Authenticity; Team Development and the Customer Experience; Leadership Beyond the Pivot; and The Future of Retail and the Human Connection as examples. These modules are led by renowned speakers and management coaches and provide an investment in the development of “Leaders at all Levels”.
Signet offers mentoring programs for career growth, including a new program titled Black Organizational Leadership Development (BOLD). Signet also has several Business Resource Groups including: Black Employee Network (BEN), Women, LGBTQ, Veterans and Young Professionals.
