Employee Engagement Survey Results

In 2020, Signet conducted quarterly ‘Pulse’ surveys to measure employee engagement and participated in the 2020 Great Place to Work® Trust IndexTM survey. When team members were surveyed, 75% of team members responded that Signet is a great place to work, compared to 59% of employees at typical U.S.-based companies*. Signet also increased opportunities for team members to share feedback virtually and anonymously with follow up surveys after each of our Town Halls and Management Communications Meetings.

I love that even during this time where so many of us are working from home we are all still connected. It is so important to me that the managers make it a point to touch base and have weekly Teams/Zoom meetings so we can get all our current questions answered. Growth and Development Initiatives

Signet offers a variety of training opportunities to support our team members in their career development, and to invest in their growth. All team members are also required to complete a training titled Diversity and Inclusion: Unconscious Bias and Inclusive Leadership.

Each year, we conduct a Leadership Conference for our 3,000 Store Managers. We have recently added leadership development modules that are rated over 90 percent effective by participants. Modules are focused on a variety of topics including: Leadership, Self-care, and Overcoming Obstacles; Coaching with Authenticity; Team Development and the Customer Experience; Leadership Beyond the Pivot; and The Future of Retail and the Human Connection as examples. These modules are led by renowned speakers and management coaches and provide an investment in the development of “Leaders at all Levels”.

Signet offers mentoring programs for career growth, including a new program titled Black Organizational Leadership Development (BOLD). Signet also has several Business Resource Groups including: Black Employee Network (BEN), Women, LGBTQ, Veterans and Young Professionals.
