Signet Corporate Social Responsibility Governance

Signet is committed to upholding high standards of corporate governance and business ethics. The Board of Directors determines all major policies, seeks to ensure effective strategies are in place to create shareholder value and reviews internal controls and risk management systems, including those that relate to social, ethical and environmental matters.

The Board of Directors has established a Board Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee that has oversight and sets the strategic direction for CSR at Signet.  The Board CSR Committee meets quarterly.

The Board CSR Committee has created a CSR Cross-Functional Team (CSR-CFT). The CSR-CFT is chaired by the Vice President of Corporate Affairs, managed by the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and reports to the Chief Communications Officer. The CSR-CFT is comprised of Team Members from across the Company, providing perspectives from key areas including: people, merchandising, operations, customer care, real estate, finance, supply chain, communications, risk management, facilities management and sourcing. The CSR-CFT meets quarterly to review the CSR strategy, areas of focus and progress against goals. The CSR-CFT is responsible for implementing, tracking and reporting on the Company’s CSR initiatives. The commitment to CSR governance is supported by Signet’s Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Supplier Code of Conduct.
